Bald Eagle Day

The Bean sponsored another successful bird watching "Nature Experienceship" today with Mr. Webb. Enlarge that photo - it'll be worth it!

This time Jewel came too - we're both wearing our Bald Eagle day pins.

Here is Mr. Webb teaching the state wildlife guy a few things.
Mr Webb can make you feel like you are the smartest person around and that you just spotted the most awesome bird of the day.

Here is some of the SWAG:

Oh and guess who was there ...

What did you do today? Oh the worldwide leadership meeting? SUCKER ...

Did the eagles eat the seagulls? Because that would be rad.

Beautiful birds. You'll have to come see the red-tailed hawk that Cliff trapped and is training.

Yes Emily - the eagles are in Utah right now. We have some permanent ones but right now there are over a hundred visitors. This was up in Davis County - Farmington Bay. We did see two bald eagles flying in Utah County on our way back home.

La Yen - no we didn't see any gulls get eaten but I agree with you - that would be rad.

Mr. Webb is sincerely one of the greatest people I have ever met. It was so good to see a picture of him.

I'd so glad I did enlarge the picture. It kind of made me nastalgic for the overcast inversion layer of utah. Is that pink floyd still around?
