Thanksgiving 2008

A couple of years ago our family started a new Thanksgiving tradition - a 5K Turkey Trot. It was my idea thank you very much. We decided to make T-shirts for everyone. Doug (the graphic designer) does the design and I get them printed and Larry pays. Here are the designs for 2005, 2006, and 2008 (2007 I went to Vegas and skipped the whole holiday so there were no T-shirts).

Even the littlest one got a T-shirt - is that fair? He didn't even try to run or walk!

Here is part of the gang waiting/stretching at the starting point.

Thanks for letting borrow your sunglasses Kari!

Exhibit Ideas

We are always looking for new exhibit ideas at the Bean. Last weekend I saw this and thought I better document it for future exhibit plans.

My Dad

This morning when I met Larry for our 5:30 AM walk, this is what I saw.

Yesterday morning, I wasn't feeling well so Larry went on our morning walk by himself. Needless to say, he took a fall. I felt guilty even though he swears it wasn't a big deal.

I think he did it on purpose so my mom wouldn't feel so bad about her fall. That's love.

On a lighter note ... the LADY CAVEMEN are back!!! Come and watch their exhibition game on Friday at American Fork High School at 7:00 PM. You can eat dinner at the school and financially support the team as well.

My mom

is the lady in episode #7 of "Cooking For One with Katy" that made you laugh really hard (especially the outtakes). Well she fell last week and broke her nose in two places ...

Yesterday at the family get together for Ben's homecoming she had to wear sunglasses most of the time. It was sad but we're glad she wasn't hurt too bad.

Cooking for One with Katy - Episode #6

Finally a new episode! I went out and bought some Skookie pans right away at Bed Bath and Beyond and I've seriously used them every day since Holli showed me how to use them. LOVE THEM!!! Enjoy!

Ghosts of Halloween Past

Oh so cute...

Can you find me? I wasn't too happy that day for some reason.

This wasn't really a Halloween costume. I played Aunt Polly in the Wasatch production of Tom Sawyer

This was my disco queen outfit

Last night - Halloween 2008

We went to the BYU volleyball game and used Drew's condition as an excuse to get good seats where we could see the world's best ball boy in action. Check out his moves...
