Um ...

I took this picture a few weeks ago. The building is much higher now completely blocking the mountains. Remember the good old days? Here is a post before it all began.

25 Things you guys said about me - #1

I'm going to give my take on each of the comments some of you left on this post.

First of all ... Ann Dee said I used to collect Garbage Pail Kids. This is true. I did this in fourth grade. And yes I thought it was so cool when Candace Cameron (who played Eric Stoltz' little sister) was playing with the cards in a scene in the movie, "Some Kind of Wonderful."

Recently this movie was featured in the new movie, "He's Just Not That Into You," and I am not embarrassed to admit that I knew every word in the scene they had Ginnifer Goodwin (who was my favorite by the way) watching when she was home alone.

This movie was also recently featured on Holly's post.

I love this movie for so many reasons ...
  • the music
  • the story
  • the garbage pail kids
  • Watts (the tom boy) gets the boy in the end (hope I didn't ruin it for you)
Some how this post turned into a post about the movie rather than the garbage pail kids. Oh well.

If you liked this one ...

(and I know you did),

you are going to love this one ...

It is now available in stores and here. Read this review I wrote about this book last year.

I bet I can get you an autographed copy if you ask nicely.

We are the Champions ...

Last year our girls made it to the championship game and lost by four points.

It was hard to lose in such a big game. This year our girls were determined to not let that happen again. And they didn't!

Here are some pictures from the tournament:

This is my favorite picture by far ...

I like this one a lot too

Coaches and Haley (tournament MVP)

Kaycee, Me, and Cydne ... both will be playing for UVU next year

Amy had 10 assists last night

The AF kids came out in big numbers

Coach told the girls to stay in the moment and enjoy every second of it.

Time out ... we could hardly hear

The celebration begins ...

Singing the school song with the crowd ... "Dear old AF High"

Back at the school parking lot. The team bus was escorted through town by fire trucks and police cars and we were met by fans for more celebrating. It was so fun!

Losing last year made winning this year so much sweeter. I love these girls.
