We are the Champions ...

Last year our girls made it to the championship game and lost by four points.

It was hard to lose in such a big game. This year our girls were determined to not let that happen again. And they didn't!

Here are some pictures from the tournament:

This is my favorite picture by far ...

I like this one a lot too

Coaches and Haley (tournament MVP)

Kaycee, Me, and Cydne ... both will be playing for UVU next year

Amy had 10 assists last night

The AF kids came out in big numbers

Coach told the girls to stay in the moment and enjoy every second of it.

Time out ... we could hardly hear

The celebration begins ...

Singing the school song with the crowd ... "Dear old AF High"

Back at the school parking lot. The team bus was escorted through town by fire trucks and police cars and we were met by fans for more celebrating. It was so fun!

Losing last year made winning this year so much sweeter. I love these girls.

25 Random things YOU know about me...

You tell me. I've been tagged for this thing a bunch of times and have put off making the list. However, after talking with CM tonight I thought it might be fun to see what you all know about me.

I'm not looking for cheese - I know you all love me. I don't even care if you share something embarrassing.

OK maybe I do.

Be nice.

I will delete comments if necessary.

Just number your comment followed by something random you know about me.

Cooking For One with Katy - Episode #10

I know it has been awhile. Thanks for your patience. Another episode will be coming this week... stay tuned.

oh sweet mystery of life at last I found you ...

Last night I went to see this:

with these guys (plus Ann Dee and Cameron):

It was well done. The singing was great. The costumes were cool. The dancing was fun. I thought Trevor Graydon was pretty funny in this production. I also thought it was cool that Miss Dororthy Brown ended up with one of Mrs. Meers' helper guys instead of Mr. Graydon. Is that what happens in the Broadway version? I just know it is different than movie.

Despite all this, I was still let down. I guess I expected Julie Andrews and Carol Channing. Duh - why would I expect a BYU production to compare with old school Hollywood? This is one of my favorite movies and you should rent it if you have never seen it.

Luke is a fan

Luke likes JT (Jonathan Tavernari) and James Anderson - mainly because he was Tommy's mission companion in Guatemala.

Last Saturday Dan stayed after the game with the boys so Luke could get his sign autographed.

I really liked Tyson's big foam hand.
