oh sweet mystery of life at last I found you ...

Last night I went to see this:

with these guys (plus Ann Dee and Cameron):

It was well done. The singing was great. The costumes were cool. The dancing was fun. I thought Trevor Graydon was pretty funny in this production. I also thought it was cool that Miss Dororthy Brown ended up with one of Mrs. Meers' helper guys instead of Mr. Graydon. Is that what happens in the Broadway version? I just know it is different than movie.

Despite all this, I was still let down. I guess I expected Julie Andrews and Carol Channing. Duh - why would I expect a BYU production to compare with old school Hollywood? This is one of my favorite movies and you should rent it if you have never seen it.

Tell Andi that it is okay to fix the "deficit" when it is a lot warmer outside. :-)

The Broadway version is different from the movie. It's still cute. One of my favorite musicals. Love it. I wish I could have seen the BYU production. I'll bet it was great.

I am sad to admit that I purchased this DVD off Amazon almost 8 months ago and yet to watch it. I bought it because someone told me I would love it. I will watch it this weekend.
